SPEAKER AUDITS

Speaker audits are designed for speakers with a prepared speech ready for delivery who want to apply feedback to continuously improve as a speaker.

A typical speaker audit includes:

• Attending an event to observe you delivering remarks at a live speaking engagement (or reviewing a recording of you delivering remarks at a speaking engagement)
• Reviewing written speaker notes that you used during the event
• Independently preparing for a feedback discussion based on observations made
• Meeting with you in person or virtually to discuss observations and feedback

During our discussion, you will learn more about:

• Your strengths (content and delivery)
• Your opportunities (areas for encouragement and improvement, both content and delivery)
• Recommendations (may involve ways to improve the preparation process and rehearsals/delivery)
• Goals (specific skills to practice before your next event; these goals/skills will then be discussed and evaluated during the next speaker audit)
