In the news: Zumwald one of 25 speakers for WomenSpeaks Virtual Summit
BOSTON, Mass., March 4, 2020 – Teresa Zumwald was one of 25 speakers selected to participate in the WomenSpeaks Virtual Summit on March 4 in recognition of Women’s History Month.
The WomenSpeaks Virtual Summit was a free, five-day experience with world-class experts to help women achieve public speaking success. It was produced by BostonSpeaks, which provides public speaking training.
Zumwald’s talk, “Speaking from the Inside Out,” was a 30-minute Q&A interview with Kit Pang of BostonSpeaks.
“Women determined to advance their public speaking skills need to begin not with their delivery techniques but with the right message,” Zumwald said.
“Once you are 100 percent sure about what to say – framed perfectly for your particular audience – the more confident you’ll be as you work on how to say it on the big day.”
During the session, Zumwald covered:
- The biggest mistake women make in public speaking
- How to fix this mistake
- Three things women must do now to start speaking from the inside out
This is not the first time Zumwald has been a guest speaker for a BostonSpeaks event. In 2017, she did a live interview with Pang called “How to Wrestle Down the Beast: Your Next Big Hairy Audacious Presentation.”
