Teresa Zumwald wins Cicero Speechwriting Award

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, April 8, 2014 – Teresa Zumwald, owner and president of Zumwald & Company, LLC, has won a Cicero Speechwriting Award from Vital Speeches of the Day.

“Real Entrepreneurs Don’t Go It Alone” – a 20-minute keynote address prepared for and delivered by Barbara Hayde of The Entrepreneurs Center on April 9, 2013, at the University of Dayton – won in the Leadership and Management category.

Presented by Vital Speeches of the Day, the prestigious monthly collection of speeches, the Cicero Speechwriting Awards recognize the work that makes the speeches that help leaders lead – in every sector of business, politics and society.

The award-winning speech is featured on page 30 of the 2014 edition of These Vital Speeches: The Best of the 2014 Cicero Speechwriting Awards.

Hayde delivered the speech at the University of Dayton’s annual School of Business Entrepreneurship Dinner. The audience included students and graduating seniors in the university’s entrepreneurship program; entrepreneurs named as finalists in UD’s prestigious, nationally recognized Business Plan Competition; School of Business faculty and staff; and highly successful entrepreneurs in the region who support the program and mentor students. ■
