Zumwald earns Advanced Communicator Bronze certificate from Toastmasters

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, July 20, 2013 – Teresa Zumwald, owner and president of Zumwald & Company, LLC, has earned her Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) certificate from Toastmasters International.

Members of Toastmasters can work in the Advanced Communication Series after receiving their Competent Communicator certificate. The Advanced Communication Series features 15 manuals, each containing five speech projects. Members choose the manuals they want to complete and the skills they want to learn. These advanced manuals help members refine and enhance their speaking skills and become eligible for several awards.

Zumwald received the award because she received her Competent Communicator certificate and completed two Advanced Communication Series manuals: Special Occasion Speeches and Speaking to Inform.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.

Zumwald is a member of Downtown Morning Toasters in Dayton, a club of Toastmasters International. She has been a member since 2009. ■
