Teresa Zumwald wins two 2012 APEX awards
ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, July 23, 2012 – Teresa Zumwald, owner and president of Zumwald & Company, LLC, received two Awards of Excellence in the APEX® 2012 competition.
Zumwald received an Award of Excellence in the Speech & Script Writing category for her work on “First Things First: Together We Can Make an Impact on Education,” a client speech.
The speech was prepared for and delivered by Steve Rubenstein of Crayons to Classrooms, a nonprofit that collects and distributes school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need.
She also received an Award of Excellence in the Meeting & Event Materials category for the “WinWholesale Resource Guide: Annual Meetings & Vendor Showcase,” a company meeting/trade show program.
The 72-page program was used by hundreds of executives and vendor representatives during a weeklong company event in Nashville, Tenn.
APEX 2012 – the 24th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence – is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.
The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness, according to APEX.
