Speech by Teresa Zumwald wins 2014 APEX® award
ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, June 25, 2014 – Teresa Zumwald, owner and president of Zumwald & Company, LLC, received an APEX® 2014 Award of Excellence in the Speech & Script Writing category for her work on “Real Entrepreneurs Don’t Go It Alone,” a 20-minute keynote address prepared for and delivered by Barbara Hayde of The Entrepreneurs Center on April 9, 2013, at the University of Dayton.
APEX 2014 – the 26th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence – is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites.
According to the APEX 2014 judges, “The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness.”
Hayde delivered the speech at the University of Dayton’s annual School of Business Entrepreneurship Dinner. The audience included students and graduating seniors in the university’s entrepreneurship program; entrepreneurs named as finalists in UD’s prestigious, nationally recognized Business Plan Competition; School of Business faculty and staff; and highly successful entrepreneurs in the region who support the program and mentor students.
