Zumwald earns Competent Communicator certificate from Toastmasters

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, Sept. 1, 2011 – Teresa Zumwald, owner and president of Zumwald & Company, has earned her Competent Communicator (CC) certificate from Toastmasters International.

Members of Toastmasters learn communication skills by working in the Competent Communication manual, a series of 10 self-paced speaking assignments designed to instill a basic foundation in public speaking.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.

Zumwald is a member of Downtown Morning Toasters in Dayton, a club of Toastmasters International. She has been a member since 2009. ■
