Zumwald speaking at 2022 World Conference of the Professional Speechwriters Association

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, July 1, 2022 – Teresa Zumwald will lead an educational session, “The State of the Art of the Independent Speechwriting Game,” on Oct. 12, 2022, at the World Conference of the Professional Speechwriters Association in Washington, D.C.

Zumwald is the CEO, speechwriter and storyteller at Zumwald & Company; a member of the Professional Speechwriters Association; and winner of 15 Cicero Speechwriting Awards from Vital Speeches of the Day.

Joining Zumwald in delivering the session will be fellow independent speechwriters Rosemary King and Justine Adelizzi.

Here’s how David Murray, executive director of the Professional Speechwriters Association, described this career-track session:

“Independent speechwriting – nobody has done it more successfully for longer than Teresa Zumwald.

“Nobody has done it more purposefully or happily than Rosemary King.

“And nobody has done it more fearlessly than Justine Adelizzi.

“These three role models will tell you their secrets to sustainable, independent speechwriting, and answer every question you have – how to find good clients, how to keep them – and how to do maximum-meaningful work that fills your soul and your coffers, both.”

In 2018, Zumwald presented “How to Write Proposals that Seal Deals” and participated on a panel at the association’s first Independent Speechwriters Summit following the World Conference.

This is the first time the Professional Speechwriters Association’s World Conference has been held in person since 2019. This year’s agenda features two pre-conference workshops Oct. 11, a dozen sessions Oct. 12 and two sessions Oct. 13.

Speechwriters can attend in person or virtually. The early-bird registration deadline is July 15.
