Zumwald to facilitate webinar for association execs April 13

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio, March 30, 2021 – Teresa Zumwald – CEO, speechwriter and storyteller at Zumwald & Company, LLC – will facilitate a webinar for the Ohio Society of Association Executives (OSAE) called Meeting Reset: What Associations Need to Know and Ask Now.

The event will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, via Zoom.

The meeting topic is timely: As associations gear up to gather again since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important to recognize that everything has changed.

Nothing is the same.

And everything’s on the table.

What’s needed are honest conversations about attendees, budgets, destinations, health and safety, meeting rooms and spaces, food and beverage, and negotiating and contracting.

Zumwald, an OSAE member since 2018, will facilitate the panel discussion with three OSAE industry partners:

  • Abbey Border, sales manager at the Cherry Valley Hotel & Ohio Event Center in Newark, Ohio
  • Ann Daugherty, director of sales and marketing at the Fawcett Center at The Ohio State University
  • Tiffany Frisch, group sales manager for Ohio’s Lake Erie Shores & Islands

The panelists will share and exchange the best strategies right now for collaborating more creatively as associations transition back to in-person events.

Because of financial hardships in light of the coronavirus pandemic, the fee structure for the Meeting Reset webinar is “Pay What You Can” starting at $25. The standard registration fee for this meeting is $30 for OSAE members and $45 for nonmembers.

Register here now, or for more information, visit the OSAE website.
